The Helderberg Nature Reserve is located in Somerset West.
It is owned and managed by the City of Cape Town with the support of the Friends of the Helderberg Nature Reserve.
The Reserve reaches up as far as the cliff faces. The peaks above the Reserve are managed by Cape Nature.

| Student | : R7.00 (valid student card required) |
| Senior citizen / Pensioner | : R7.00 (60 years and older: proof of identification required) |
Members of the Friends of the Helderberg Nature Reserve enter for free with proof of a valid membership card. Become a member of the Friends at the Information Centre.
Early Riser key
To walk in the Reserve before the gate is opened in the morning, become a Friend and buy an Early Riser key at the Information Centre. Please note: The key can only be used by the person who bought it. This facility is currently under review.
