This year’s Sunset Concert Season looks set to be more popular than ever with a diverse range of entertainers in an expanded programme of nine concerts. A permanent stage has been built for better viewing and the lawn area expanded to allow for more visitors and ample space for picnics.

Shiraz plays to an appreciative audience - January 2009
The Helderberg Nature Reserve is located in Somerset West.
It is owned and managed by the City of Cape Town with the support of the Friends of the Helderberg Nature Reserve.
The Reserve reaches up as far as the cliff faces. The peaks above the Reserve are managed by Cape Nature.

Members of the Friends of the Helderberg Nature Reserve enter for free with proof of a valid membership card. Become a member of the Friends at the Information Centre.
Early Riser key
To walk in the Reserve before the gate is opened in the morning, become a Friend and buy an Early Riser key at the Information Centre. Please note: The key can only be used by the person who bought it.
